The Peters Township Swim Club is a nonprofit organization in association with the Peters Township Recreation Board, operated by members and volunteers, dedicated to teaching competitive swimming in a teamwork atmosphere to young people aged 5 to 18.

PTSC, on behalf of PRA & AMS, is asking for your help with Mini Champs on Saturday, July 10 at Pine Richland. We realize that Sr. Circuit 3 at Pitt will be occurring at the same time, but Mini Champs will be short and sweet. If you can help out, please contact John Schaefer (PRA). Mr. Schaefer’s contact number is listed on the AMS Officials Roster. If you have difficulty locating his contact number from this link, just let me know and I’ll get it to you. Thanks, Patti I know that summer is full of vacations and we all just want to relax. However, we have one more session of Learn-to-Swim to finish out. So, we are now looking for one parent volunteer per half hour of Session II of Learn-to Swim. LTS Session Two will be held at the High School pool from 7/12 to 7/15 and 7/19 to 7/22 (8 days total) with the first lesson beginning at 4p and the last half hour session ending at 5:30p. You can sign-up to volunteer by using the link on the Volunteer Opportunities page of the website. Please view the list before making your selection to determine whether anyone is already scheduled for your hoped for date and time. We will try to monitor the sign-up and remove time slots as they are filled, but ….. As to instructors, if you already committed to work Session II, please reconfirm by sending an email to ptsc.pjd@comcast.net and denisevierheller@hotmail.com. If you have not committed to work Session II but would like to do so, send an email to the above noted addresses. Thanks, Patti Coach Becki’s High School Group will be practicing at Mt. Lebo’s long course pool this Thursday, July 1, from 6:30am – 8:30am and this Saturday, July 3, from 8:00am – 11:00am. ********* Please note: There won’t be morning practice at PTHS on these mornings. These practices are designed for Coach Becki’s High School Group only. Washington Park Pool will be putting the finishing touches on their renovation project through next Tuesday. It will then take three days to fill the pool, and the chemicals will need to be balanced. Their goal is to be opened for July 4th.
Therefore, next week’s PTSC weekday practice schedule will be the same as this week’s schedule.
Swimmers in Coach Becki’s HS Group should stay tuned for a possible practice Sat., 7/3.
